If a child and family can read, they can learn.

If they can learn, they can earn.

If they can earn, they can enjoy the American Dream.

A good job; a good car; a good home; a great family.

Introducing the:

 V.J. Stanley Children's Literacy Fund

Literacy in our schools has fallen to frightful levels.  Whole families are fighting to pull themselves above the poverty line, and the numbers keep growing.  For the past twelve (12) years, Vincent Stanley has been on a crusade to stop illiteracy in the inner city.  During this time he has made hundreds of visits to inner city schools, delivering books, computers and other literacy resources to teachers and students alike.

"A child that finally learns to read finds a new sense of purpose.  They begin challenging themselves in all aspects of their lives, finding new doors opening to them from every direction, and at last providing for themselves a way to succeed in this world...It is a wonderful gift" - Mr. Vincent Stanley.
